[IRCA] TP for 20 Sept 2012; Victoria version

Upper latitude conditions were definitely down this morning, but not replaced by
better DU conditions, so I guess we could say that conditions were just
generally poorer. What was heard was mostly of the "briefly fade up" variety,
so signal strengths continued erratic, just at a lower level.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

not today

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB JJ talk by man at 1339UT, followed by CC? by woman. CC lessons?

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB EE leassons at 1334UT
1287 man in JJ at 1341UT
1386 unID orchestral mx with piano at 1333 not //NHK2 or CNR1. Rendition of
"Yesterday" by same instrumentation at 1339UT. Any ideas?
1566 "FEBC" by woman at 1344UT, brief instrumental mx and off, presumably
replaced by CC program but too weak to tell

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

594 man talking 1256UT JOAK?
828 very weak w/woman talking 1257, but heard familiar chimes that seem to
accompany EE lessons, so JOBB
954 JJ sounding talk by man at 1345UT; JOKR?
972 HLCA? operatic sounding vocal mx 1343UT
1053 jammer 1258UT
1377 man talking 1335 but didn't seem //CNR1
1575 man talking, echoey sound at 1337UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

738

best wishes,

Nick
