Re: [IRCA] Gone With the Wind...

My neighbor, who has been a HAM much longer than me, wants me to put up a loop antenna. I'm sure I could use it for both listening and transmitting. But...it would have to be supported by a couple of trees and I'm against that. Every antenna we have ever put up in a tree has fallen during a storm. I want my house to serve as one end and have the legs stretch out into the yard. We'll see...but either way, I guess one antenna could serve me well...if I could ever get the thing built and up in the air.

I just had my fence repaired so I guess I could string something along the top of the fence, but it won't be very high. I guess I can just experiment and see what come my way.
