Re: [IRCA] NE Oregon TPs, Friday

Steve,

Yes, the same here with KYWN 890 Meridian, ID.  They tore up the channel with
a S-9+40 db signal this morning.  Herman Cain was filling in for the regular host .  I heard
that they have been off the air.  Was able to phase down KYWN down, but the DU station signal
on 891 was to weak to receive.  I'll miss hearing those horse racing calls that come in once a year
here.

Best regards,

Dennis,
Kalama, WA

My best 9 kHz channel, 891, that had minimal domestic splatter, appears to
be ruined with new 890 KYWN Meridian, ID blasting in this morning with
right-wing talk, S9 splatter on 891, S9+10 to +20 on 890.
891 5AN Australia poor/weak 1501 then 4TAB fading up to join it 1503.
Around 1510 KYWN came on, blasting away and removing all but a CW het.
Phooey.
