[IRCA] Signing on from Kona, Hawaii - Day 1

In my possession, a Debock modified Tecsun PL-380
and a stock Grundig G3 (and an FT-60r 2M for the ham radio stuff)

A bright light! It is actually electrically quiet this visit.

There has obviously been a lot of work done at the 
condo since the last time I was here - new pool deck,
perhaps new lighting, new BBQ, new walkways...

And the noise level has dropped from a staggering S9
down to an S1 or S2.

In the first few minutes of tuning around (at 19:35 local time),
Tahiti is armchair on 738 with lots of hets present.

My promise to the list readers: going to make way more
of an effort over last year...
Of course, this is the same Colin who has had around 2 hours
of sleep in the last 24+ hours.

Optimistic!
