Hi Earl,

You may consider dropping them an email for your first Trans-Atlantic QSL (or e-QSL)! I sometimes get some of the "ho-hum" stuff of my DX neighbours from the East coast and I'm still enjoying it :-)

Congrats!

After chasing carriers of varying strength almost nightly for the last few weeks, and occasionally getting brief snippets of barely readable audio, I finally got enough audio tonight to positively confirm a parallel with Absolute Radio 1215-UK's web stream. The carrier was the strongest I've heard it in the last few weeks, reasonably strong; audio was best in LSB to avoid local line noise. I used the RX-321's 1350 Hz filter to avoid domestic slop, of which Philadelphia on 1210 was the most egregious.

Around 0250 UTC was when things "peaked", if you could call it that (at least so far). That means I could get at best about 30 seconds of audio every 5 minutes. But the audio was clear enough to be unmistakably parallel to their web stream. Sheryl Crow song, soft-spoken British accented male DJ (Christian O'Connell, according to the website), REM song. Nirvana's "Come As You Are" was clearly heard earlier with its unusual beat/rhythm, also paralleled to the web stream. I know this is really "ho-hum" stuff for you East Coast types, but this is my furthest catch ever, country number 20, catch number 987… First transatlantic.
  Sincerely,

Earl Higgins
