Re: [IRCA] TA carriers in Victoria

Hi Nick, I was hoping to get to check for TAs too with my recently improved
antenna setup, but I ended up having to be away for the evening through
local sunset.

Today I was off from work (easing back into things after the Grayland
DXpedition :^) so I decided to move the Wellbrook loops further into the
green belt behind my home and about 12 feet further down the ravine. I now
estimate the antennas are 125 ft. from the nearest house and a total of 20
feet below grade (below the level of the surrounding homes). My hope is that
this elevation drop helps avoid some of the QRM from the homes along with
the portion of feed line that is buried. The bands are quieter than ever so
the extra antenna effort was worth it.

I'm hearing a strong het on 738 with the SW-NE loop and not on the NW-SE one
at the moment.
