Re: [IRCA] Wolfman Jack -(one more and last time)



For years he aired via XERF-1570, just across the river from Del Rio, TX. Although licensed for and listed at a high power, my understanding was that the electricity requirements were such that the transmitter never operated at it's maximum listed power.

I used to hear him regularly from Northern NJ in the 1960's.
