12 -04 -10 , 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM PST  Victoria to Nanaimo BC bandscan (Done on bus trip with some bus electric noise to put up with): Pre LSR scan did not produce any het whistles from any TPs but just the usual domestic mix. With the Victoria local out of the way and the Vancouver BC and Washington stations still weak enough at LSR of just before 8 AM all the big guys from Alberta displayed some signal strength of above average with the sun up already. In the lineup from bottom to top were:630 CHED Edmonton -- under/over KCIS Edmonds WA ;  660 CFFR Calgary --over KAPS Mt. Vernon WA; 770 CHQR Calgary --over KTTH Seattle;    910 CKDQ Drumheller; 930 CJCA Edmomton --over KBAI Bellingham ; 960 CFAC Calgary   CBR 1010 Calgary ; CKMX 1060 Calgary ; CHRB 1140 High River-Calgary ; 1260 CFRN Edmonton.All of the above stuck around with variable signals for the duration of the post sunrise scanning period until 9:30 AM PST with 770 as the last one to
 disappear. Bill in BC.
