Re: [IRCA] [AMFMTVDX] CT DOT 1670 and KWO35 1630 mysteries

Comments re these stations are appreciated. Quite a few to go through. I'll post some clips of the 1630 online. Signal was incredibly strong on my AOR 7000 Plus, using the nw-se 500' BOG wire. The 1670 was comparatively weak, but obviously masked by Radio Enfant (Ottawa ON) (and the 1670 was not taped).

CT DOT on 1670 tonight underneath Ottawa's Radio Enfant is likely WPML750
New Haven CT - has anyone heard CT DOT on 1670?

More KWO35 162.55 relay on 1630, but endured multiple full loopps with no
better ID that that. Weather forecatss and current conditions for a range of
places such as Western Sound Buoy, Central SAound Buoy, Hudson Cabin,
Montauk, Long Island, northern NJ, University of CT Execution Locks (!),
etc... Darn good signal, I'll post a clip or two later on. One suspect is
JFK airport, though they usually ID and don't run all of this stuff. Maybe
the New Haven CT station on 1630? Maybe another in the NYC area? Anyone down
that way DX these critters?

Reception good to NY-CT-NJ tonight. WCDO Sidney NY 1490 is a new catch here.
Some TA activity - Algeria 531 and 549 among a handful of actual audio
signals. 936 getting close, Iran would be cool. Signals seem more southern
than northern far as TA activity is concerned.

On 1630 this morning heard relay of KWO35 NY City 162.55 MHz with coastal
weather from CT to northern NJ.

While looking for a culprit I found this list of Part 15 stations. There's
a 1640 that relays KWO35, but mine is on 1630.

My best guess is the TIS at JFK Airport...
