My experiences this morning were the exact opposite of Gary's. For
me, the NHK big guns were stronger than they had been, and everything
else was down a bit. The Chinese, in particular, were noticeably weaker
than they were this past weekend.
Alaskans were also in well, with a particularly good signal from KFQD-750.
Here are todays logs:
Good audio, easily understood by a native speaker, at least briefly
594 JOAK
670 KDLG presumed with BBCWS
750 KFQD overpowering KXL, had ad for job openings at Alaska Media
Group in case anyone's interested
774 JOUB, nice ID at 1320
828 JOBB
850 KICY o/KHHO
1566 HLAZ
Fair audio, some of it understandable by a native speaker
693 JOAB
747 JOIB (decent signal but too much KFQD spatter)
780 KNOM u/KKOH
1134 Japan
Bits of audio with recognizable program content
972 Korea
