[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-14

Hello All,
 
     Asiatic TP conditions overall seemed a shade less  impressive than the 
last couple of days, but there were still some  interesting signals. Again 
using the fanatical 9' PVC box loop, 675-Vietnam  had good signals in and 
out around 1314 (along with a slightly ragged carrier),  and most other 
low-band Asians had fair to good audio at times. 738  kHz had a rough-sounding 
carrier from the Taiwan direction again,  perhaps indicating that BEL2's 
transmitter is acting up like it did a  year ago. A recording on 738 kHz at 1343 
had Taiwan mixing with Korean  speech (presumed HKLG) at a fair-poor level, 
along with some humming  noise.
     With the exception of the two CNR1  stations on 639 and 756 kHz the 
Chinese stations had difficulty producing  audio this morning, and 927, 936, 
1044, 1377 and 1593 stayed at the moderate  carrier level. The Japanese were 
generally good, with the typically  overachieving 20 kw 891-JOHK all alone 
on the frequency. For those  ULR-DXers looking for new TP countries, 
September is usually a good month  for the reception of 675-Vietnam here, with its 
signal seeming to drop off later  in the Fall Season. It's usually the 
dominant TP on 675 kHz at this inland  location.
 
The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider model (7.5" loopstick)  
inductively coupled to a 9' sided PVC tuned passive loop (in the back  yard):
