Not as good as yesterday, but not too bad. Again, the longer one stuck around,
the more DX there seemed to be, but I didn't stick around as much this morning:
stopped by the radio just before 1400UT, for some minutes around 1430 and 1500UT
also
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
594 JOAK
774 JOUB
828 JOBB
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker
666 JOBK //594
873 JOGB //828
972 presumed HLCA
1134 not //972 or 4460, so most likely JOQR
1575 VoA at 1437
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
279 presumed R.Rossii, big carrier, poor audio; not usual for this to be
undermodulated, unless Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was just open carrier, and Selenginsk
was riding in on it. (dream on)
603
621
639 CNR-1 //4460
648
846
918 CC pips at 1500UT
1017, could have been CRI //5965, but too much splash to be sure
1053 traces of the KK jammer
1287
1323
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
864, 936, 1251, 1566
best wishes,
Nick
