I have 3 EWE's, NE-15X40X15, NW - 24X50X24, and a SW-25X100X25. None are
amplified. EWEs should have enough gain, not to need any amplification.
I have never used a Flag though. The K9AY I had for a couple years was a
bit lower in gain, but still needed no amplication. As Nick said, I
would be a bit concerned about too much gain with an inexpensive amp.
