[IRCA] Puyallup, WA TP's for 11-13... Improving

Hello All,

The sunrise TP propagation was definitely improved from yesterday, and
there was audio on several frequencies that are usually not productive.

The UnID Chinese (male) was back on 684 kHz with his talk monolog at 1441,
and he seemed to be quite animated until 1445, when 670-KBOI turned on its
IBOC to silence him. This 684 kHz Chinese always shows up on mornings with
great propagation, so at least he is a harbinger of good DX, even if he
stays unknown.

Around 1450 the usually weak 1503 kHz had threshold audio from a presumed
JOUK, but without enough signal to check a parallel. The frequency is
splatter-free here, but almost always a paltry carrier.

Frequent but weak co-channel TP's were heard under several "big guns" from
1455-1500, including the music-oriented KBS1 under 594-JOAK, Chinese music
(with female announcer) under 828-JOBB, and Chinese male talk under
972-HLCA. A check was made for another elusive co-channel under 693-JOAB, but CBU
splatter was too much to dig out anything weak. The NHK stations did have
very good audio this morning in general, despite the co-channel competition.

So it was a fairly good TP morning here, even if no new Asians were logged.
For mid-November propagation, it's best to be thankful for the TP's you
still have, and enjoy them while you can :-)
