Here is a nice site, that uses Google Maps, for figuring how many feet
that you have to work with in a particular area is for setting up BOG's
in parks and such.
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/
You need to use the option: Manually (straight lines) or else it will
take you to the nearest road.
To figure the number of feet, take the "Total Miles" results and
multiply by 5280. i.e. the soccer fields near my work has room for up
to a 1300' or so run, now the Police and Homeland Security may have
something to say about that. :)
