[IRCA] "Puyallup Posse" (half of) TP's for 9-18

Hello John and others,

I'm sure that Guy will be most amused at your new moniker to describe us
:-)

The low-band Asians were strong as usual this morning, with the Koreans
especially vibrant, notably 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang and 756-KBS. As has been
usual here in September, a very definite but short sunrise enhancement
started around 1320, reached its peak around 1335, and was gone by 1345.

603-HLSA had its strongest signal of the young season so far, playing
Korean and American pop music at 1332. I was lucky enough to get an MP3 of them
at their peak (1332) with a huge signal during an American pop music
number. There was only a trace of the weak 603 kHz co-channel from yesterday,
believed to be Chinese (possibly the 10 kw Beijing station, but no definite
clues).

756-KBS had a signal rivaling that of HLSA, but the very short sunrise
enhancement here made it tough to check the high-band Koreans. 972-HLCA had a
flamethrower signal as usual, and 657-Pyongyang had some serious power
behind their ragged signal as they continued their tireless tirades.

Except for JOBK-666, the Japanese seemed to be weaker than usual this
morning, as has been typical throughout this month (as noted by others). But at
least for the low-band Koreans, this was the best morning observed here so
far.
