[IRCA] TP for 21 Feb from Victoria, BC
Quite a bit better than yesterday, with a reasonable sunrise enhancement after 1500UT (which is fortunately when I listened; the propagation monitor showed the enhancement starting about 1440, and done by 1530UT).
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
594 JOAK
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB at 1509UT
774 JOUB
828 JOBB
972 HLCA at 1507UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
558 HLQH //603 1504UT
567 JOIK //594 at 1508
603 HLSA //558
693 JOAB //828 at 1510
1575 likely VoA w/talk at 1518
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
585 JOPG likely //594 1506UT
639 CNR-1 //5030 likely, but someone else there too?
666 JOBK seemed to be //594 a couple of times
873 JOGB seemed //828 at 1514UT, just briefly
954 likely JOKR, JJ inflected talk a couple of times
1134 too murky for any ID
1206 hum with man talking all w/KEX IBOC, at 1510UT, likely CRI; this has been rare lately
1287 JOHR likely JJ inflected talk at 1515UT
1512 brief appearance w/mx at 1521UT, after lower band started to fade quickly (China?)
1566 finally a touch of audio at 1518, CC inflected talk, riding on the big carrier; likely HLAZ,
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 756, 1098 DU, 1278
