Strange... we're not that far apart. It's true that things seem to go
rapidly downhill right after I posted the alert, but there were still
some good signals around. In the hour before that, I had audio on
many channels where I normally just get a het, or nothing, i.e., 963,
972, 1017, 1125, 1269, 1296, 1503. In nearly all cases, it was
Spanish, with a bit of (presumed) Arabic here and there. I've
experienced these low-latitude TA openings before when the K index
kicks up... rare, but fun!
