Re: [IRCA] DX TIP for WDXR

KCKK! Patrick, are you still QSing them? (PM-OR)
//////
Patrick I do indeed still work for NRC Broadcasting, the owner of the
KCKK transmission facility. But all of the programming originates from
Mile High Sports Radio through an LMA. Their studios are located in a
separate facility. I don't have access to stationary or any potential
goodies that Mile High might send your way. If you want to try to get a
QSL directly from them their address is Mile High Sports Radio, 1423
Larimer Street, Suite 020, Denver, CO 80202. I'm sure they would be
happy to hear from you. I know that when they got a reception report
from a DXer in Europe several months ago they actually took time to read
the letter on the air during the live lunch time show. If you don't have
any luck with that route let me know and I will be glad to QSL for you
on behalf of NRC Broadcasting.

FYI although I am still an employee, I haven't actually worked at NRC
for over a month due to illness. In fact I am at home recovering from a
17 day stay in the hospital, my second lengthy hospital stay this year.
I guess this is pay back for a lifetime of good health. Until this year
I have hardly ever been sick throughout my 56 years of life. This year
it caught up to me big time in the form of cardiac problems and
diabetes. I hope to be back to work soon.
