[IRCA] WBIG 1280 Aurora, ILL

Local news reports that WBIG 1280kHz, Aurora, IL had a medical helicopter
clip and break one of the tower guy wires.  The helicopter crashed
nearby killing four people.  This happened around midnight.

There is some concern about the 700ft+ tower stability and officials
have evacuated some residents living close to the tower.  

The station is still on the air, listening to their signal as I
type this.

WBIG tower is located about 20 miles due north of my
location and years ago I could see the tower lights from home.  Since
that time new housing developments between here and there block the
view.
