a New Station...if it's just a Call Change for WWWT...then I can't!!!
Just a call change for the former WWWT (ex-WTOP) on 1500. The 1500
transmitter site in Wheaton, MD and the 1050 site at the Sligo Creek
Golf Course are only a couple of miles distant, but each frequency is
staying put.
It's extremely expensive - not to mention almost impossible, politically
- to move one of the big 50 kW AM transmitter sites, so you don't see
that happen very often and it's a big deal when it does.
