All true, but if that's the case an HDTV may not help. What you'll need
first is a suitable outdoor antenna. Also remember that many
translators won't be converting right away and LPTV's don't have to.
And cable and satellite TV should already be compatible. The Digistream
( or whatever ) units Radio Shack sells are crap. The best units appear
to be the Zenith ( built by LG ) and the identical except for label
Insignia units sold at Best Buy. Also the Philco's are reportedly good.
