I remember receiving a QSL Letter from CFRA-Ottawa Ont., believe they were on
560 at the time (December 1950), saying that my program content was exactly correct but they couldn't understand how I heard them as they beamed their signal almost totally away from me.  I was
in NW Iowa at the time.  They did verify, however grudgingly :-).  One of my other favorites was from KJNP-1170 in North Pole Alaska who very cheerily informed me that I was the first reporter
from the Lower 48 to contact them.  This was in the mid/late 60s from Sacramento CA.
