[IRCA] Short check of the AM Band

Wednesday/Thursday April 2/3....2340-0020 PDT....Made a check of the
band and found conditions below par as a whole.  Did get some stations
to the north with better than average signals but nothing much long
distance.

 550 KOAC-Corvallis OR atop with BBC program
 590 KUGN-Eugene OR atop with talk
 640 KFI-Los Angeles CA with SS music noted in background
 860 CFPR-Prince Rupert BC atop nicely with CBC News. Local KTRB was
totally off at the time.  2 or 3 other stations behind CFPR.
 870 KFLD-Pasco WA surprisingly atop with sports talk
 880 KKMC-Gonzales CA & KWIP Dallas OR mixing...religion/ss music
 990 KTMS-Santa Barbara CA with 3 or 4 IDs at 0005. Pittsburg CA was
off.
1030 was just mush...3 or 4 stations mixing with poor signals all.
1110 Coast to Coast atop here. Probably KBND Bend OR.
1140 KHAK-Sacramento CA being (as usual) totally cut up by CHRB High
River AB.
1250 no ESPN here just the WC bunch mixing it up.
1280 KXTK Arroyo Grande CA solid atop with ESPN sports.
1410 Coast to Coast strongly atop. Most likely CFUN Vancouver BC
1530 KFBK Sacramento CA with C2C but SS talk noted below them.
Minnesota station still running day power at night, or Mexican?
