Great comments. Radio has been good to many of us. I have always been
happy I picked up that old Philco radio off that garbage rack on the way
home from school in 1962.
I have well over 100 countries QSL'd on SW and 95 on MW. I have a lot
of DX also on reel to reel and cassette. Some day I should dub that over
the CD.
But the Ham radio bug never bit me. My father tried to get me
interested in it early on, but I fell in love with MW DX.
