I'm sure others will pop in with comments, Barry, but first I'll quote Rob Ross (he who logged 300 stations on Ultralight radios in 30 days), from www.dxer.ca:

"...could null out pretty much anything to an amazing degree. I began hearing stations parked right beside my strong local stations. I was able to hear stations ?Under? other strong stations, and I was able to dig out 2 or 3 stations on the same frequency at the same time!!"

High praise indeed, but the nulling ability on these little radios can be quite astounding at times.  Sometimes even wandering around a room can find you an even better null;  I assume the effects of re-radiating house wiring  is at least part of the reason for this.
