Re: [IRCA] UN'ID Shortwave Logging: 7455

PWBR flags the WEWN usage of 7455 as S = summer, A-season, not now, and in fact
they are not using it now. At least, not on their own schedule, or in much more
up-to-date online resources such as
http://www.susi-und-strolch.de/eibi/dx/freq-b07.txt
http://www.geocities.jp/binewsjp/bib07.txt

If Kevin has really heard WEWN on 7455 since the end of October, that would be
interesting, and not the first time they have strayed from published sked.

WYFR is using 7455, as indicated in PWBR by W = winter. WEWN does plan to use
7455 in A-08 from end of March, at 08-12 UT. Last year this collided with WYFR
part of that time, a bad example of frequency mismanagement, but this summer,
WYFR does not plan to use it. There is also RTTY on the frequency, which you
would think would object to either broadcast station being on there.

Passport to World Band Radio has WEWN also on at this time running
500 kW. It has WYFR running 100 kW. Both are on at the same time.

If you heard Family Radio mentioned at any time, its WYFR. If you
heard Catholic Radio at any time its WEWN. In the western US I hear
WEWN. It easily could be that you hear something different in the east.

Both could play religious music at that time.
