[IRCA] NW NOTES
Looks like a good night:
840-860: KHHO's IBOC is off
920: KGTK is now on night power at night. It's flimsy in Tacoma, as
it should be.
1100: Must have been the new Bakersfield station slicing up KFAX at
5:15pm PST
1410: Possibly KRML cutting in to CFUN. Who else would have hard
jazz? 8:15pm PST.
1700: I think Cash 1700 (XEPE) has a new format. Seemed to be calling
itself "San Diego 1700."
On the other hand, there seemed to be an IBOC whoosh on 1040. Not
sure of the source. Didn't get it on 1060 because CKMX is too strong.
Not coming from KMAS or WBZ so has to come from the other side.
Elsewhere, a new TIS has been noted:
1700 WQID491 Auburn, WA. Seems to be run by the city of Auburn. Noted
in Federal Way, 99 at 348th, near Costco. Not audible at home because
I have Part 15 Brown's Point Radio as a local (days)/semi-local
(nights).
