Hello All,
Sincere thanks are given to Colin Newell (administrator of the superb
dxer.ca web site) for his kind posting of the Ultralight Radio AM-DX Shootout.
This descriptive narrative covers the no-holds-barred, fight to the
finish between the amazing analog SRF-59, the dauntless digital SRF-M37V, the
super sensitive DT-200VX, and the trapped turkey ICF-S10Mk2. For any DXer
contemplating purchase of one of these "pocket rockets," the bizarre shoot-out
result and purchasing recommendations should prove interesting.
Those of us enjoying the great thrills of Ultralight DX may also wish
to contemplate that without Colin's generous encouragement and support, this
entire pocket-radio boom would never have occurred.
73 and Good DX,
Gary DeBock
