I think the rule of thumb in both clubs has been ELT for domestic and
UTC for foreign. Here al of my clocks are set on local time except for
the atomic clock and 24 hour clock in the DX room. The R8 has the two
clocks, one on UTC and the other on local Pacific Time.  I know of
several domestic DXers that do not use UTC at all, so that would be
confusing, but one suggestion is to include UTC.
