Re: [IRCA] Battery back up not UPS



I guess the UPS that I am familiar with are the kind that continue to
run for a long time after the mains power goes down. We had one at one
location that I worked at that was a dynamo which ran off of the mains
and when the mains went down, it was already spinning and the diesel
engine fired up, so we never lost power. I am not sure of the power
rating, but we were on it for over 24 hours once..
