Re: [IRCA] Housing the RF-Space SDR-IQ

"I spent about 4 wonderful hours with Walter's SDR-IQ
and the last time I checked, my hours are worth
more than the value of a 100$ box"

And what pray tell is your hourly rate for dxing? ;)

R and D session on the box:
1) Should the enclosure be a sphere, pie, skull or box?
2) Should we make it out of day old bread, rock, paper, or metal?
3) Should the dimensions be larger or smaller than the pcb board?
4) What? It won't fit in an Altoids or Whitman Sampler box? How about that
Salt Cod box?
5) Should we put holes in the box to allow access to the jacks?
6) How much can we charge and get away with it?
7) Do you think anyone will notice the box smells like salt cod?
8) Is the beer cold yet?
Some don't mind DIY and actually enjoy building their own rigs. OTOH, some
don't.
