Re: [IRCA] Martí-1180 DA pattern change? WTF, over ?

I was in Marathon a few years ago & the local commercial station on 1300 said they get interference from 1180. But whoever is in charge there just ignored their complaint. I have to wonder if they even have an engineer? The 1180 station doesn't allow any visitors. It is run like a military base or prison. Besides the locked gate, there is a security camera & a guy that will come out to the gate if anyone approaches & act mad until they're back on the highway. He wouldn't speak a word to us. Maybe there's something so secret in there that they wouldn't trust an engineer? Good luck finding out anything. 73, George S., MN

Has there been any precedent for Radio Marti to be broadcast on 1180 from
somewhere else? Or, has there been any severe weather that could have
broken something at the Marathon site? Directional arrays do have part
failures.
