In this aircheck, management purportedly orders the DJs to go to a 
classical music format, but they claim to refuse, taking control of the 
station and playing rock for 24 hours with no commercials.
What this was was an ill-conceived stunt, which may have done the station 
harm among the listeners it sought to court.
It would be interesting to go back in time and visit Spokane's schools the 
next day to see if the stunt had gotten relayed among the kids as "Did you 
hear that KGA is going classical?"
Or maybe everyone was listening to KJRB, and it made no difference.
Regardless, KGA went country in a month or two
