*** I remember back in the 1970's when I lived in Northern NJ, and at
that time was almost line-of-sight ( although probably 8-10 miles away
), WABC-770's signal was routinely heard on 1540 on any radio I tried
and all over the area. others heard it too. I know that they did
ultimately fix it but I can't reccall what it was...
