Re: [IRCA] KAST

Art,

That is a great site Scott has and the pix are fantastic he takes. The
station tours were a lot of fun. A couple side notes on KAST, the
station was moved by sidecar from Klamath Falls in 1925, a 250w on 1230.
It has a very colorful history. KVAS came on in 1950. My old boss Chuck
Farmer bought it in the early 50s after moving up from Oxnard CA. He put
the old 910 on the air down there (KOXR) in the 40s. Unfortunately,
Chuck passed away several years back.
