Mike,

You dropped in 103.9? I worked for the old KVAS AM on 1230 for about 5
years in the early 70s.   KAST AM has been number one in the market
since the 60s. I was a bit surprised to see anyone beat them out. Let
alone a non commercial station. But KMUN does have a lot of support.
They have translators all over and they added their second station on
90.9. Quite a feat for a county population of only 36K.
