Re: [IRCA] WMPO off the air; WFIW, WLCM heard

Group:

Thanks for info about DEE. Will share it with Brh, who was also his friend.
A bit of DX here this morning with WMPO still off;

WFIW 1390, Fairfield, IL 4/9, 0852 EDT w/talk, spots, 1 ID noted, mostly
under WNIO.

WLCM 1390, Charlotte, MI 4/9/ 0900 EDT "Victory 1390, WLCM, Charlotte," ID
noted during WNIO pause. Was probably the 1 preaching here up to that time
& was mostly under WNIO. Note that the good citizens of Charlotte do not
pronounce "Charlotte" with the accent on the first syllable, as would those
who live in the city of the same name in North Carolina, but "shar-LOT,"
with the accent on the 2nd syllable.

UnIN 1390, 0846 - 0905 EDT somebody here w/standards, no spots or IDs.  I
suspect WXIC, but when I heard them two years ago, they at least IDed. Also
somebody here w/MDT TC @ 0846 & either "First Light" or "Daybrreak"--1 of
the Westwood One morning nx shows.
