Think I might have missed something by sleeping in.  Turned on the 
radio just before 1500UT, to hear 1287 with fair audio.   A quick 
tune around over the next 10 minutes yielded fair audio also on 828 
and 774 (though the latter battling with splatter),  audio in 
the  "occasional word through the domestic muck" category on 594, 612 
(DU direction), 738 (hard to get direction, likely DU), 747, 954, 
1566 and 1575 with the latter four fading up to almost readable at 
times.  1143 also showed occasional audio traces, while strong 
carriers held forth on 837 (likely DU), 855 and 1386.
