mine has been fine as well

gmail is sensitive to tight firewalls -- I can get around this by resetting
the browser (F5?) when this happens

my canada.com account is another matter -- site maintenance was offloaded to
a USA provider, and before we can access our accounts we have to agree to
all kinds of USA laws . . . sheesh
