Bill,
In Campbell (just to the SW of San Jose and 40miles se of SF), I can get KOA clearly on my Grundig S350. While its a "standard" radio, the antenna is also very directional. I do think that KTRB has taken out my ability to get KICY/850, but tonight is the first night I have listened in a while so I could be talking out of my rear end too.
