[IRCA] radio repair

Hi all, I have a g e super radio 2, with a dirty tuner, and I don't
know how to get into the radio to get some cleaner in there to stop the
tuner from crackling when it goes accross the stations.  It started out
on fm, but now, it does it on A M, and that is the reason why I didn't
use it to make my iboc recording on Sunday.  I have a friend, but he
lives in castro valley, and he said he was afraid to use cleaner on the
tuner, because it might cause resinence, but I don't know who to take
the radio to so it can be sprayed with tuner cleaner to clean the radio
out.  I've had this super radio since 1992, and it is the best radio I
have, so just wondering if there's somebody in the Oakland San
Francisco area who could open the radio up and clean it for me.
