Pillpop is entirely too communistic for my sense of well being.

Mr Milspec390-
If this story is true, and such a bill is passed, all it means is that the
large corporations will diversify into little companys. But the money all
goes into the same pocket. Just look at history. The FCC broke up the bigger
media companies in the 60's, and all the stations did was create new
companys on paper and raised the price of advertistment.
The higher price was to cover the lawyer cost to create the new companies on
paper.

Example: WFAA-TV was/is owned by Belo corporation. Before the 777 rule the
AM, FM and TV all had the same call. After the break up, new calls were
given to the radio stations, BUT Belo still owned all the parts, so what
different did it make??? NONE.

Around 1900, Carnegie owned the major portion of the steel mills in this
country. The Senate and Congress broke up the steel giant, BUT Carnige still
owned all the smaller pieces. All Carnegie did was raise the price of steel.

In 1972, Nixon placed a five cent per gallon tax on gasoline sold in this
country. It was his way to get the "nasty old oil company." Remember? But
what did the oil company do, they raised the price of gasoline and passed
the tax on to us. All the oil company did was become tax collectors.

The 'Fairness Doctrine' is just another way to show "Fairness" to the rich
and screw the poor. That's why the rich are rich.

Are you thinking about Dublin, GA or Dublin, TX?????? Yes, it would be, BUT
only if it is Lone Star beer.
