Walt:

I use a combination of my  7030's  'bar graph' S meter and the sound of the 
signal to find that sweet spot. But then I do have to adjust the phaser 
slowly to allow the meter to catch up. Too quick a movement and I miss the 
null. I don't think I could rely on just the sound of the signal, whereas I 
could do it with just the S-meter.
