This was the best morning for Asian TPs in several weeks. Far East Russians
were especially good, and am still listening to medium/strong just before
sunrise on 153 and 189. Many MW hets with the most audio I've heard in a
long time, on 531, 558, 567, 594, 603, 639, 648, 693, 702, 738, 747, 774
(even rose above the strong IBOC hiss at 1422 utc), 828, 1134, 1566. LWBC
good on 153, 180, 189, 234, 279 and very poor on 171 (at 1250 utc). 189
still good at 1445 utc (sunrise at 1440 utc).
Folks on the LF ndblist were commenting on the Mid Winter Anomaly occurring
(on LF), with daytime reception out to 1200 miles going on Monday. Almost no
LF Pacific reception this morning for me, with Hawaii, Micronesia and Samoa
the only ones heard.
