I too have a modified MFJ-1026 and it worked OK with my 2 EWE's, though I 
wasn't able to completely phase out most unwanted stations. From here the 
big test has always been KSL at night. The MFJ will reduce it several S- 
points, whereas my Quantum will completely eliminate it.
