Re: [IRCA] QSLing

Hi Patrick,
Nothing says that you have to be an employee of the station. As long as you
can compare/ verify the programming to the report, you've done the
"official" work. Of couse, you could have it notarized, hi.

On the subject of email QSL's, of course alot of people don't prefer them,
but it IS a QSL. I think I'd prefer an email one over having the station
send my report back with a note written in the corner saying "yes you heard
us". Aesthetically, nothing usually beats radio station- stationary and
logos, and apparently the commitee to preserve QSL's must concur- otherwise
they would collect QSL's for being what they are- not for how or what
they're printed on. Personally, I prefer the good old pre-printed cards. A
letter head with the logo is pretty cool also. A QSL doe's loose it's visual
appeal with-out art. Keep up the good work Patrick, your doing DX'ers a
great service.
