Pardon me, but have you ever spent any time watching HDTV ? I hate to get
too far OT here, but honestly, HDTV provides a MUCH better picture than
analog and is a major improvement. Watching sporting events and shows with
nice scenery on HDTV is much more pleasurable to the eye than on analog. Not
all will buy nor can afford HDTV sets, but the price of converters is coming
down and I suspect the government may help the poor buy them once analog TV
is gone in a couple years.
So.. Mike, please note that while I strongly disagree with your HDTV
comment, I agree with the rest of your post.
