Was planning on doing a short tech column in DX Monitor based on it, 
Chuck, but really, Mark Hattam's tech column article of a few years 
back (now appearing as IRCA reprint T081; amazing how often I mention 
those reprints...) says  even more, though he used Spectrum Lab 
rather than Spectran.  About the only thing I added was a method of 
increasing the accuracy of the displayed offsets, plus a brief 
introduction on "precision frequency measurement"
