According to the Aurora gallery at http://www.spacew.com aurora was sighted
last night in Moses Lake WA - the central part of the state for those not
savvy to the treasure that is Moses Lake.
The guy on KITI was telling the truth, no doubt trying to win the DX
audience for KITI.

While driving back from the convention earlier today, I heard someone on
KITI-1420 tell listeners they might see the aurora borealis tonight.
I'm not sure where he came up with the suggestion - maybe he got it off
the newswire. Or perhaps he's a ham or astronomy buff.
